This is an active nation of sports enthusiasts.  We are blessed with so many wonderful natural resources that make any kind of sport in New Zealand an amazing experience.

Rugby is a national fixation in New Zealand.  Fans are very loyal and passionate about their Rugby here.  You can find a great local game in almost every city, regional team battles and of course the biggest celebrities in New Zealand, The All Blacks.  New Zealand hosted the Rugby World Cup and WON in 2011 and game has never been stronger.  There is nothing like the excitement of the All Blacks challenging a team with the mighty Haka before a game.

Epic backdrops like ocean vista, jagged peaks, snow capped mountains and rolling hills makes New Zealand a perfect golf destination.  Here you will find courses for all levels from easy 9 hole courses to world renown professional courses and everything in between.

Here is a list of some of the top courses in New Zealand:

New Zealand is a unique place to hunt with many spectacular off the beaten track places to explore.  Whether you are a Red Stag big game trophy hunter or just wanting to get out with friends for an enjoyable day of duck hunting; New Zealand can provide the game and the stunning backdrop.  Hunting is open year round with the best months being March through August.

Behind walking and gardening, fishing is New Zealand’s favourite pastime.  With over 15,000 km of coastline, pristine rivers, lakes and streams, a great fishing spot is around every corner.  Our waters are clean and fishing can be for sport or hobby.  If you are in the north, you will catch snapper, kingfish and tarakihi.

In the far south, blue cod, trumpeter and grouper may show up on the dinner table.  You will also find a number of places to catch freshwater salmon and trout with Lake Taupo being one of the world best fishing spots for trout.  If you are new to fishing, never fear, you can rent charter boats along with gear or go out on a multiday big game boat for a trip of a lifetime.
