Some of the attractions within 5 minutes to half an hour of the Park, that are available to Visitors include the world famous Pukeiti Rhododendron Gardens, Pouakai Wildlife Reserve, Mt. Egmont/Taranaki National Park, Golf Clubs, and all the numerous attractions offered by the City of New Plymouth.

From one day walks to up to 4 day overnight Treks are able to be put together for those that like the Great Outdoors. For those that require an experienced guide to take them to the summit of the Mountain, Hookner Park can arrange this for you. Being the closest Park to the Mt. Egmont/Taranaki National Park, Hookner Park is an ideal base to experience all that the area has to offer. For those that wish to partake of over night and longer Treks, Hookner Park offers a Car minder and Ferry service to the Mountain area. |
